Hosted Services
VOIP will slash any organisations start-up and on-going telephony costs. This, coupled with the flexibility and low start -up costs is making VOIP an increasingly popular choice with smaller businesses. The biggest saving with VOIP are the line rental cost. A standard ADSL connection can host several voice calls as well as provide internet access to your network while each ISDN 2 connection will host just 2 calls and whilst ISDN 30 is available it can prove to be an expensive choice.
The VOIP PBX is either hosted or installed on site depending on requirements and provides the same functionality, if not more than traditional PBX installations. All handsets within the VOIP network can be assigned Direct Dial Numbers with your main company number assigned to a 'hunt group' or IVR (Interactive Voice Response) menu.
The PBX also includes additional features such as:
- Voice Mail - if you are busy or out of the office the PBX can be set to answer the call and take a message. The message is either emailed to your personal email address or stored on the PBX for you to listen to at your convenience.
- Mobile Working - a VoIP handset can be plugged in at home or another location anywhere in the world where you have an internet connection and used as if you were in the office, you'll have the same contact details and features you would have if you were sat at your desk in your office.
- Conference Calling - invite your colleagues into important calls using the conference calling feature
- Customises IVR (Interactive Voice Response) - set up menus to direct your customers to the right person, voicemail or simply play a message. Eg "press 1 to be connected to...."
- Call Queuing - rather than playing and engaged tone calls are placed in a queue and answered when an operator becomes available
- Music On Hold - play your callers a sound track when they are on hold or record a custom message offering promotions and information
- How, Transfer and Forward calls as with a standard PBX
